Do you want to paddle with the friendliest and most inviting club of the Pacific Northwest? Take advantages of all the waterways and join Wakinikona Hu'i Wa'a on Saturday mornings at 9:00 am - 11:00am just east of Gas Works Park - right next to Dunato's Boat Yard. Sprint Races at Silverdale

Despite the rainy start and cold wind throughout the day, those of us able to make it to the sprint races hosted on Saturday by Hui Heihei Wa'a had a good time out on the water. There were enough waves that our steersmen, Jon and Stan, were able to surf waves on the race course! The salt water of the Puget Sound made the canoes feel extra light and fast! Our crew of Bill, Bryan, Chessine, Erin, Kevin, Jason, Jon, Stan and Sue A. were able to put together an Open Coed crew that took 2nd place in the 1000m and a Men's crew that took 3rd in the 1500m! All in all, a good day for racing for the crew of Wakinikona.
